Essential — always available

Firebase authentication uses browser storage, including IndexedDB, to maintain your session. Sign-in redirects, email-link sign-in, remembered account details, security checks, saved job-list preferences and requested app features use their own storage. We do not clear these when you reject optional cookies.

The first-party top_jobs_consent cookie stores your choices, version and save time for 180 days. A localStorage notification synchronises open tabs. An absent, expired or invalid choice keeps optional categories off and asks again.

Analytics — optional

Microsoft Clarity, when enabled for this deployment, measures navigation, feature use and session recordings. It can set _clck (visitor continuity) and _clsk (session continuity), (provider-configured lifetimes, commonly up to one year and one day respectively), and contact clarity.ms and Microsoft services. Sentry browser diagnostics, performance and session replay help investigate errors and can use sentryReplaySession in sessionStorage. Clarity also uses _cltk session storage for its current tab. TOP product events measure signup, onboarding, jobs, applications and profile interactions through our server logging system. These tools and events require Analytics permission. Events skipped before permission are not replayed.

Marketing attribution — optional

Josie AI download links include referral parameters and a click identifier only with Marketing attribution permission. Signed-in referral clicks may then be recorded with your account by TOP. Without permission, the destination link still works without these parameters. We found no Google Analytics or advertising pixel initialisation in this app.

External media — optional

Profile videos, portfolio websites and other externally hosted frames load only after External media permission. Providers such as Cloudflare Stream, YouTube or a portfolio website can receive your IP address and browser information and may use their own storage. Their policies apply when you visit them directly.

Changing your mind

Withdrawing an enabled category reloads the page to unload its tools; save unfinished work first. We remove accessible Clarity cookies on this host and parent domains and Sentry replay session storage where feasible. We cannot erase third-party-domain or HttpOnly cookies, recall requests already sent, or delete historical records through this control. Your browser settings provide additional cookie controls.
